its almost the second of january. we are in Singapore. if anyone wants to know, i finished kite runner. if you are one of my classmates, you probably don't care. i am running out of money at the internet cafe, so i have to go. this may be my last post until i get back, because i don't want to write anymore.
This book is o.k. and i am not enjoying it. Therefore, this will probably be my last post on the book. The book starts with this kid, Tyler McCallister who has just moved with his mom, a film writer and his brother an actor. He has a good friend with a a weird name, Lyme. He is a mean kid, but they still seem to get along. Anyway, in there town there is a quarry, called the Wake-field quarry and people mostly stupid people, go swimming there. So, they decide to go for it late at night. (By the way, this is basically how the book begins, with Tyler saying how Lyme said not to go to the quarry). They go and as they come in, a car speeds away, like they were hiding from something. They jump in only to find there worst nightmare, a dead body. Tyler runs into it, by accident. They make a run for it and call the cops although they do not want to say there names (especially Lyme). Tyler is always cold and is having nightmares like crazy. They go to the gaming place in the city where all the news spreads and find, Buster the owner that is a jerk. After they hitch a ride with buster, they find themselves at the quarry with the cops and the dead body. It was BooBoo the Janitor. He was always kind of weird but was very likable.
Overall, the book was attractive in the beginning although I am not reading it any more. I am going to start a new book, one that I never knew was out. I think I do not really like how much time is spent on talking about him. I tend to like books that are suspenseful most of the time and that you can not really figure out until the book reveals it.

The book is about a boy named James and his sister, Lauren. In the beginning of the book his mother dies & Lauren and James get sent to an orphanage called Nebraska House. Only problem is, Lauren goes to live with her father while James is stuck at the House. James starts to hang out with a rowdy group of kids named Rob, Big Paul, Little Paul, and Vince, who get him eventually arrested. He still hangs out with these kids even though his good mate & roommate, Kyle, advises him not to. One day, James wakes up in a room which is much nicer then Nebraska House. He finds out he is the latest recruit for CHERUB which is a division of MI5 but for kids. After a serious of grueling tests, James gets sent back to Nebraska House to think about his offer. It turns out his guidance counselor, Jennifer, and his roommate, Kyle were in on it and recommended him for CHERUB. Right now, Kyle and James are about to leave for CHERUB and are sabotaging Vinces room.
The CHERUB series has 14 books. At first, I didn't like The Recruit at all. But now I'm really starting to get interested and learn about James's training period. ! (:<3
In this story five friends are models for holograms. These holograms are used to guide people through out the Magic Kingdom. But there is a catch to being a model for a hologram. You also can turn into your hologram. They go to the grand opening of there holograms and they are the stars of a parade. They look at the magic kingdom and realize there is a weather balloon attached to the Magic Kingdom. Then they look at the sky. It looks like there is going to be a thunderstorm. They realize a weather balloon should not be in the sky if it is going to rain and thunder soon. They believe it is the work of the overtakers or the people who are trying to take over the Magic Kingdom. Finn the protagonist goes to Cinderella's castle and sees a guy. They guy tells him that he doesn't belong there. Finn doesn't listen and he turns into his hologram and goes through the guy. When Finn reaches the top the overtakers's leader is there. She then uses the wire tinker bell uses to leave the castle and leaves.
I do not like this book. It is way to childish for me. I am reading it though because I haven't read anything in a while. I am also just reading it because it is a short book but, it is worth 11 points.
Alright I do not have a lot of time so I will get right to the heart of it I have currently not been reading The Hobbit for the past couple of weeks but, I have started to read it this weak. Currently Bilbo and his dwarf friends killed a dragon named smug and are almost finished with there journey. Bilbo Baggins the protagonist in this story has been a different person since the begging of his adventure with the dwarf companions he is much more (ball-ze) then he used to be also he is now seen as a good through the eyes of the dwarves. I am going to stop writing now because my carbon monoxide detector is going off and I think I should leave this room.

mmk. so...so far there is this kid will. he and his mom are standing in the middle of the road and he is trying to get his mom out of the road. so he brings her to his old piano teacher. and then he back tracks, telling us that his mom has these enemies in her head and she thinks that she has to run away from them. so she's insane, basically. but now the enemies are real. we dont know who they are. when will goes back to his house, they show up but he ends up tripping one of the men down the stairs and killing him. then will runs from his home all the way to oxford, where he sees a hole in the air. he jumps through because he wants to get out of where the enemies are. There is no one in the town where he is, until he walks into a building and a girl jumps at him. and that is where i stopped (: i think that so far this book is really interesting because it takes so many different directions and i want to find out what the enemies want and what will and this chick are going to do to get out of the weird place.
