Zack novick Miracle on 49th street page 92-105 Molly, Barbra and Josh sit down and discuss what they should do about Molly. Josh doesn't want to reason with Molly and he just wants a DNA test. Molly will not do that because she wants Josh to belive Molly just because he trusts her. Josh says that Molly's mom believed that Molly was his daughter, but Josh thinks its another man who got Molly's mom pregnant. Molly starts yelling until Mattie comes in the room and calms everything down. She tells Molly what Josh is trying to say. He was saying that he wants to get to know Molly better before he can actually decide anything for himself. Mattie pretty much saved Josh at this point in the book.
the book is still getting annoying because all Molly says so far is that she doesn't want a DNA test, and Josh disagrees with her.
Hello, I just finished troll king on Wednesday and I am currently reading Rowan of Rin. The protagonist in this book is named Rowan he does not have hope in himself. but one day the stream that is responsible for contributing water for he’s village stops they assume that it being blocked by something at the top of the mountain that watches ominously over to his village.
Before traveling up the village Rowan and some of his companions go to the house owned by a character named Sheba who is to be believed as a crazy witch. She hands Rowan a map only he can read and tells him to lead the journey up to the mountain. Along the way some of Rowans companions abandoned the mission because they believe there families and friend are in trouble and some are afraid of spiders.
Abiha Kazmi I Love You, Stupid! pgs. 0-42 This story is about this guy named Marcus Rosenbloom. He likes to write even though he still hasn't handed in his report for this writing class. It starts with him at the front of the cafetaria imagining what the girls are saying about him. HE is obsessed with girls but he is still a virgin. He is walking in the cafeteria when he sees this new girl reading a book. He goes closer to her and she calls out his name. He looks at her and says Wendy Barret (meaning thats her name.) They apperently knew each other when they were younger, but then she had to move away. Now she moved away from her mom's because of the mom's bf. She lives with her aunt and uncle. She invites Marcus to her house after school. They go into her room, which is very small. She was laying on the bed just chillin when he tried to make a move on her and instead accidently fell on top of her. She pushed him off and he said he didn't do it by purpose. When he goes home, he tells her mom that Wendy is back and his mom is excited and wants to meet her. There is this play wih Marcus's friend in it and that friend knows about the incident with Wendy and Marcus. He asks Wendy and she reluctantly says yes. After the play, Marcus takes her home.
So far this book is really stupid (sorry mr. j, i know u hate it when we call stories stupid, gay, etc.) MArcus is really pissing me off, because he is telling everyone about the incident with his and wendy and he thinks he's all cool because of it. I am just gonna stop reading it from here.
Have you ever heard this phrase? If you have, you probably know what book I am reading. Any ideas? O.K. fine, I’ll tell you. I am reading 1984 by George Orwell. I could have read more, but I didn’t; Mostly because I didn’t have time. Yeah I know you have all heard that excuse a lot. The real reason is that I didn’t want to. Even though it seems interesting, it is very uneventful at the beginning. I am still going to read it anyway. In this portion of the story, a guy named Winston is introduced. He lives in a world where there are three major governments. Eurasia, Eastasia, and Ameri- something; I don’t fell like looking it up. Winston lives in the Ameri- something. The government in this “country” is very powerful. The leader (Big Brother) brainwashes the people of the town. He gives them an example of a “bad” person, who’s ideas he disapproves of, and then he cleverly makes the community hate that person. He also makes kids violent by making it cool to turn your family in to the thought crime police. That is the people who vaporize you if you are thinking about striking against the government. At his job, Winston has to make up lies. He gets an order from big brother that says he has to take one incident from the records, and has to turn that into a convincing lie. The way he does that, Is he gets access to the records, and he permanently changes it. If a historian was trying to find out the truth, it would be practically impossible. That is where I left off. There is so much more detail in the book, but I don’t have all day. I think this portion of the book was interesting. It is so cunning how the author portrays the world that Winston lives in. It is also interesting how the author show you how the people were brainwashed. I had no idea that a person could actually do that. It’s pretty interesting so far, so I am going to keep reading it.
After Ron,and Harry are in the chamber, Harry makes his way to find Ginny. He does. She looks dead, but she is not. All of a sudden, Tom Riddle comes out to greet harry. Harry thinks he is on his side, but he then finds out he is not. They argue abiut him being Voldemort, and then Tom decides to put Harry to the test to see if he can beat the Hair of slytherin. He then starts speaking parseltoung and the balisk snake comes out. Harry starts to run, but then he is joined by Dumbledoor's bird, the pheonix. Also Harry is given the sorting hat wich on the surface seems worthless. He then finds through when the snake starts to chase him, he finds a sword, from the hat. He stabs the snake right after it bites harry. The pheonix heals it, and then Harry takes a tooth from the snake and stabs it through Tom Riddle's diary. After it is finshed he meets back with Ron and Lockheart (who reversed a spell on himself) and they exit the chamber. Harmione is awoken, and every single person in the school praises Harry, especially Dumbledoor, who thanks Harry and shows that he belongs in Groffindoor. Draco's father comes in to see Dumble door. Through tricky thinking, Harry frees Dobby by having his master give him a sock. Harry and Dobby both become free.
This book was a great one. It was exciting and fun. I found it very suspencefull and tricky. It was definatley a book that anyone should read, and it is more simple than it looks.
Alexander Kaplitz Star Wars the Force Unleashed Sean Williams Pg. 1-50 In this book Darth Vader has an apprentice. The apprentice should not exist. There should only be two sith at a time. The emperor and Darth Vader but, Darth Vader has plans to use his apprentice to kill all the remaining Jedi then kill the Emperor making Darth Vader and his apprentice ruler of the galaxy. The book opens up with the apprentice doing some training. Then Darth Vader sends him on a mission, to kill the Jedi Rahm Kota. When the apprentice goes to his ship he meats the new pilot, Juno. Juno walks in to see the apprentice fight with his light saber. Surprised she hides wondering what is happening. After the battle the apprentice introduces himself and briefs her on the mission. When they reach the world the Jedi is on the apprentice is forced to kill anybody in his path. When the Jedi and the apprentice meet the Jedi laughs because Vader sent a boy to fight him. When they start fighting the Jedi and apprentice see a vision that Rahm Kota will be very important in the apprentice’s life. Because of this revelation the Jedi escapes after the apprentice burns his eyes out. Then when the apprentice tells Darth Vader, Juno overhears them saying they plan to take over the empire. This book is a very good book. There is a lot of action and a classic star wars theme. I feel that it has action on every page but, it does not develop the characters well so, I will have to read on to know the characters better. I will unfortunately though have to pause in my reading of this book because it is not on AR and I need the points.

Then angle tries to tell Max that she is stuck by sending a mined message. Ma herd her and came looking. Then they met back up with there parents and they had to go to Washington d.c. Max gave a speech on global warming and how they can make mutant bird kids but they couldn't stop global warming. After that they opened a school for the deformed kids like them. While at the ribbon cutting max's voice told her she had another mission and she wasn't done.
I liked this story. I can't wait till the next one comes out if there is one. The test was very easy to.
Yoo Michael fallows Jane into the bar when Jane is pretty upset. After a couple of minutes Michael is still trying to decide whether to confront her or not. He knew it was against the rules so he didn't. He kept thinking what would have happened if he did go and talk to her. He silently said to himself "goodbye Jane. I'll never see you again." Jane actually thinks she sees Michael but tells herself that she's becoming dilusional and doesn't follow Michael. She doesn't know why she can't forget him. Once or twice a week Jane goes so a womens shelter and help people with food and makes them feel good about themselves. She says it feels even better than going to church. Hugh found her walking home and asked her to get in his blue convertable. When the got to brookland he asked her to marry him. She knew she couldn't. It also didn't help that he said 'do we have a deal?' He got pissed and threw her out of the car (in Brookland.) He said "get out of my ****ing car you ****ing ***** (word for female dog LOL.) She didn't cry for about 6 seconds and didn't know what to do with herself. Owen brought Michael's best friend home to his apartment and he knew she was one of his 'objects.' Michael wanted someone to talk to so he called his friend Clarie de Lune a call. Jane doesn't go to her moms for lunch because she's depressed about Hugh being a jerk. Instead she goes to Tiffany's and buys herself a $13,000 ring for her right hand. This is where i got to.
I think Jane and Michael will meet up at Tiffany's or some place they went to when Jane was little. I'm getting far in this book and by Monday I will take the AR test on this book if I can't take it on the weekend...
The book is in three parts, and I read the first part, called Cass. When Caitlin woke up on her sixteenth birthday, she found out that her older sister, Cass, had run away to be with her boyfriend Adam, who worked on a show called the Lamont Whipper Show as a security guard. The show was like a less popular version of Jerry Springer. Cass had left a present for Caitlin in front of her door. Before she opened it, she went downstairs to see her mom in tears and her dad on the phone talking to the police. Two of their best friends and long-time neighbors, Boo and Stewart, were sitting at the table comforting her mom. Boo and Stewart were modern-day hippies. They only ate tofu and didn’t have much furniture, Boo didn’t like the idea of beauty pageants and cheerleading, and Steve hated bug lights, meat and never paid much attention to sports. When school started again, Caitlin and her friend Rina decided to try out for the school cheerleading team, just to do something different, and before they knew it, they both ended up making the squad. Not long after that, they had their first big game, and Caitlin had to be on top of the pyramid for their big halftime number. But, it didn’t turn out the way she wanted. She ended up falling off the top when she heard a man from the crowd call out her sisters name. Fortunately she only had to get a bandage on her knee. On her way to the after party, she, Rina and another girl on the squad, Kelly Brandt, had to stop at the carwash to clean out Kelly’s car from when her boyfriend threw up in it. That’s when Caitlin met Rogerson Biscoe. Before she left for the party she thought that it would be impossible for them to see each other again, but she ended up being very wrong. Rina had been trying very hard to get a boy named Mike Evans, the running back on the football team, and Caitlin together for a very long time. And at the party he offered her his jacket. That was a big deal at their school, if one of the players offered a girl his letter jacket they were considered officially together. But when Mike offered, she said no, and instead, asked Rogerson for a ride home. Before she left the car, he kissed her, and she liked stepping out from her sisters shadow, and hoped that this feeling would go on for a long time. After that, she didn’t see him for almost a week.
This book is pretty good. It didn’t take me very long to get interested in it. I think Caitlin will end up seeing Rogerson again, but I think it would be a random sighting. Cass will show up somewhere, but I don’t know when or where, but I know she hasn’t completely disappeared. I just want to find out what else Caitlin does to be “different” and step out of her sisters shadow.
my bad! im super sorry for not posting. but i wanted to wait intill I finished. really i am sorry.
okay so now im finished the book and i am so super happy. Okay so here we go....
So when edward calls and asks where Charlie is, and Jake says that he's at the funeral, Edward thinks that it is Bella's funeral. But no just Charlie's friend. So then Edward goes to Italy to find another group of Vampires called the Volturi. If you make them made, the Volturi will murder you, which was Edward's intention. Before he left, he told Bella he would never live with out her. So when he thought that she was dead he was like "Okay, i am gonna go and get myself killed now." The way that Bella finds out about all of this is that Alice comes to Bella's house...while Jake is there. Vampires and Werewolves are sworn enemies, of this i am sure. So when Alice and Bella take off for Italy, it really makes Jake mad, not to mention Charlie who comes home to find out that his daughter left for Italy, to save the person who Charlie still thinks hurt Bella. Yeah, so. Bella and Alice actually do save Edward and they all come back and are safe. But charlie is REALLY mad. Bella comes home from work one day to find her motorcycle she used to hurt herseld in her drive way. this made Charlie even MORE MAD. the worst part is, Jake brought it there. Duhduhduhhhh.
This book was pretty good. i still think that Twilight was better. And at first i though "Im not gonna keep reading the series right now, im gonna take a break." But then i got addicted to it agian. I also think that the story is developed really well and it totally keeps you in to it.
